Working Student Legal Department (m/f/d)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an Working student to support our Legal Department.

This is an international, dynamic and highly skilled team with colleagues located in Germany and Spain who are our in-house legal experts. 

  • Duration of the contract: min. of 6 months (can be extended)
  • 20h a week

 In this position you will work with our EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Legal team on the following tasks:

  • Support the legal department in all administrative matters including scheduling meetings, billing and invoicing, document management, and other corporate housekeeping matters
  • Participation in the day-to-day business of the legal department and in current international projects
  • Supporting the organisation of internal and external trainings for the team, as well as the organisation and delivery of trainings led by the team for other departments in the company
  • Preparation and maintenance of court files, contract documents and contractual documentation including archiving in German and English
  • Drafting of letters to customers, for example in the context of claim management, in German and English
  • Correspondence with notaries, translation agencies, administrative authorities and embassies, in German and English 
  • Initial research on relevant commercial and legal issues
  • Support on cross-functional projects, for example with the Tax, Finance or Market Intelligence teams

  • Proactive with good organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills
LANGUAGES
  • Fluent English and German skills (written & spoken)
  • Any other language will be a plus - in particular Spanish, French, Italian or Chinese
LOCATION
  • Munich (Germany)

  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office (necessary
  • Interest in international law and commercial law is a plus
