MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be part of a talented team consisting of engineers who offer in-house advise and support to their colleagues as well as premium service towards our customers.
This position will make use of your knowledge and skillsets of solar products and to provide technical support and pre-sales engineering activities for Canadian Solar. You will be in direct communication with sales managers, customers, product management and headquarter personnel abroad to assist with needs and support as defined below.

Main Goals
- Application engineering support for sales and customers to ensure customer satisfaction before and during the contract negotiation phase assisting the Technical Sales team
- Visit customers together with sales managers and conduct product presentations, customer training sessions, webinars and customer events
- Ensure module compatibility with mounting systems and inverters for existing products and for potential changes or new products
- Advocate of customer needs and requirements
Main Responsibilities
- Close collaboration with Product Management and Technical Sales to ensure module compatibility with other components
- Perform LCOE calculations in collaboration with Sales Managers and customers to highlight the advantages of our products
- Be the experts in usage and analysis of PVSyst and other PV simulation tools supporting system design and production analysis.
- Create trusted professional relationships with customers, Sales Managers, other component manufacturers and technical stakeholders in the market.
- Development of Technical sales documentation in collaboration with Product Management.
