PLANNING, ALLOCATION AND ANALYTICS MANAGER, EMEA (m/w/d

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning activities:

  • Manage overall product demand and convert it into ongoing sales forecasts; facilitating alignment between production forecast and HQ Order Fulfilment and Master Planning teams
  • Collaborate with HQ to assess inventory levels and demand, determining inventory distribution to EMEA Region warehouses by creating internal purchase orders (IPOs)
  • Lead and develop a high performing Planning, Allocation and Analytics Team to ensure a higher level of customer satisfaction
  • Lead allocation of available inventory resources based on SO fulfillment requests; ensure efficient utilization (allocation/reservation) of inventory resources based on inventory lead-time and new product availability including exchange and re-allocation of resources as necessary to manage aging inventory
  • Monitor inventory levels in warehouses in EU and SSA in coordination with the Logistics team; help make effective management decision on pallet space utilization
  • Communicate Available to Promise (ATP) sales volume to Sales Management
  • Develop Planning roadmaps, KPIs, Dashboards and measurements to track progress on planning tasks and projects
  • Lead Planning participation in cross-functional projects
  • Assist Operations Management and EMEA Management in the review and analysis of ad-hoc business data and reports to effectively communicate updates on sales activities to Headquarters and Senior Management
  • Assist the Inside Sales Department in managing customer communication related to current sales orders and future resource needs

Pricing and Analytics:

  • Analyze and maintain all orders data for pricing against the pricing guidance from HQ
  • Aid in order approval process to ensure pricing errors are avoided
  • Maintain profitability log – based on pricing guidance and costing changes
  • Devise and maintain relevant dashboards, analyses and reports in Power BI for effective and quick analyses, decision-making and execution by Sales management
  • Supporting Inside Sales and Sales related to short term pricing changes
  • Support the Associate Director to review and analyze the established and prepared data and create any ad-hoc reporting as needed
  • Devise future pricing forecast and relevant analysis

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage expectations of internal and external customers
LANGUAGES
  • Fluency in English; additional languages is a plus

Your backpack is filled with
  • University degree in business administration, engineering or comparable. Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in similar function
  • Profound professional experience in Planning, Allocation, Analytics and Supply Chain
  • Advanced experience and/or working knowledge of SAP and BI systems, preferably Power BI
  • Advanced MS-Excel skills including power pivot and power query
  • Knowledge of Earned value management and any experience in implementing the same advantageous
