Planning and Allocation Intern, EMEA (m/f/d)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Operations Department, we are seeking an intern to join our Planning & Allocation team in Munich. This is a young and dynamic team, with a key role in our operations in EMEA.

  • Communicate the Available to Promise (ATP) sales volume to key stakeholders
  • Facilitate and coordinate resource supply between sales and manufacturing facilities to provide accurate communication, detailed order information, and current delivery plans
  • Create and manage Internal Purschase Orders per business needs to ensure supply, based on actual sales demand
  • Ensure inventory resources optimization and allocation cycles with efficient resource utilization
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reporting in a timely manner
  • Support the Inside Sales department to service their customers’ communication
  • Support the other operations departments, e.g. Logistics and Inside Sales on current supply
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis based on production, logistics, and market demand changes impacting our supply chain
  • Support planning coordinators in their daily tasks including data preparation, reporting, and presentations

  • Comfortability in working with multiple data sets simultaneously
LANGUAGES
  • Fluent in English; German skills are a plus
  • Other languages will be an advantage
LOCATION

Your backpack is filled with
  • Student in Business Administration, Data Science, Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain Management
  • Previous working experience gained through other student jobs or internships in multinational companies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI is a plus
  • Experience in working with SAP ERP system is a plus
