MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
For our expansion into East Africa, we are seeking a Sales Manager to join our successful team.

Your main resposibilities will be:

  • Manage existing accounts as directed by the Regional Sales Manager
  • Develop a pipeline of potential and acquire new accounts by locating key decision makers and building stable sales relationships to generate sales in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) markets
  • Negotiation of price, volume, contract terms and conditions with customers and prospects
  • Coordination with all internal departments to solve any commercial, technical and/or financial objections  of customers
  • Representation of the company’s brand in front of existing and new accounts
  • Compliance with internal processes, policies, and external regulations
  • Participation in the by-weekly calls and travel to Munich headquarters

  • Ability to work autonomously, high flexibility and reliability to work in a fast moving high pressure environment
  • Strong knowledge and skills in MS Office (Excel), CRM software such as Salesforce would be considered  highly desirable
  • Willingness /ability to travel (appr. 40%)
LANGUAGES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as any additional Indigenous African languages
LOCATION

Your backpack is filled with
  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 3+ years of solar industry experience in a sales role
  • Demonstrated sales experience within the SSA region or equivalent international expertise
  • The ideal  candidate will bring his or her own industry network
